Alexandra, from north London, has four brothers, a sister, and lives with her mum, Melissa Bell, who used to sing with Soul II Soul.
She started singing at the age of five and when she was 9 yrs old she was passed the mike at one of her ma’s gigs. Everyone loved her and from that moment onwards she was hooked on performing.
Aged 12, Alexandra entered Star for a Night. She was the youngest person in the competition and was beaten to first place by Joss Stone.
Since leaving school, Alexandra has pursued a career in music. She has had no professional vocal training and learnt to sing from her mother. Recently she went on tour with Young Voices, a charity that raises money for children with Leukaemia, performing at The Royal Albert Hall, Dublin Point Theatre and the MEN Arena.
Alexandra is no stranger to The X Factor as in 2005 she auditioned and got through to the Judges Houses stage alongside 2005 winner Shayne Ward. However, Louis said she was too young and ended her X Factor dream in Dublin.
