Donald MacKay is a furniture salesman from the country town of Griffith, New South Wales.
Mackay bravely campaigned against the illegal drug industry and the local marijuana growers in particular.
His high profile as a Liberal candidate for State Parliament made him a hero to some – and a deadly problem to others.
