Based on true events and set in the corrupt world of Sydney’s drug dealers and the coppers who police them, Underbelly - The Golden Mile, is the story of the excesses of the empire, seen through the eyes of some of the most sexy, charming, unscrupulous and deadly people of the time.

It’s episode seven, and the action certainly isn’t slowing down any. So what can we expect?

Following street dealer Talal Assaad's unexpected death, John Ibrahim finds everything he's worked for threatened by the prospect of a criminal conviction.

Meanwhile, while the main suspect Russell Townsend remains in hiding, Constable Wendy Jones tries to convince John to cooperate.

Kim Hollingsworth tests the loyalty of her new boyfriend Michael by allowing fellow prostitute Galina to proposition him.

Debbie Webb joins the Fraud Squad in an effort to save her career. Unfortunately her whistle-blower reputation precedes her and she is snubbed, not even allocated a partner.

However, romance might be on the cards with one colleague, Greg Locke, who offers her advice and support in dealing with the fraud squad dinosaurs.
