A look ahead to the first episode of the third and best series of Underbelly so far.
Coming to STV this month, Underbelly: The Golden Mile is the third series of the gritty award-winning Australian show.
Based on true events and set in the corrupt world of Sydney’s drug dealers and the coppers who police them, Underbelly - The Golden Mile, is the story of the excesses of the empire, seen through the eyes of some of the most sexy, charming, unscrupulous and deadly people of the time.
In the first episode we’re introduced to 16 year old John Ibrahim, who wants to be part of the Golden Mile and sets off on his journey to conquer the streets.
Meanwhile, bent copper Trevor Haken joins the team at King’s Cross detectives, and enters a world where his morals and ethics will fit in nicely.
