Shocking, violent, but true - Underbelly 1 was the sensational dramatisation of the gangland wars that rocked Melbourne, Australia, between 1995 and 2005. STV viewers loved it. On air it frequently beat the ITV network viewer numbers. Online it was one of the most successful programmes eve on the STV Player.
Now all we can do is wait for Series Two - A Tale of Two Cities which is coming to STV, for the first time anywhere in the UK, in the autumn. It's not a sequel but a prequel, going back in time to the summer of 1976, when Australia first became the target for hard drugs sales and their equally hard salesmen.
