Hello Night-owls,

I’m the new boy on the team and I feel like I’ve been here for ages, everyone has been so lovely and welcoming.

I’ve been presenting now for 11 years. I started off at CBBC and stayed in children's telly for six years. I had such a great time and interviewed lots of people including Westlife, Steps, Sclub7, Terry Wogan, Gary Lineker and Cheryl Cole.

I even got to interview Britney Spears and I almost poisoned her by making her eat a five-day-old chip and bit of fish! I thought they were fresh - oops.

I worked for STV many years ago when I worked as an Actor. I made a telly movie called the Princess Stallion (I was neither the Princess nor the Stallion)! I also appeared as an extra in High Road and I was ‘huckled’ out the police station in Taggart!

I have also worked as a comedian, impressionist and a redcoat at Butlins but my claim to fame (before working on telly that is) was being heckled by the one and only Whitney Houston while working on a Cruise Ship in the Caribbean.

What else is there to know about me?

Well, I am a huge fan of Pantomime and I’m going back to the Palace Theatre in Kilmarnock for my seventh year to play Buttons in Cinderella.

I once appeared as a model in one of those teen magazine problem page photo stories.

I am quite good at cooking (two of my cousins are head chefs so I’ve learned from them) and I make great roast potatoes - the secret is in the oil, and piercing the potatoes, trust me.

I am terrible at DIY, I once hired an orbital grinder thinking it was a sander and took away half a wall. I’m more GSI - get someone in.

My favourite food is Indian, the hotter the better. I am a huge fan of 80s cheesy pop music and I love red wine!
