It’s been a cracking full on couple of days for one busy Nightshift Presenter and I’ve loved every minute of it too, so let me tell you my stories. Firstly I spent last Saturday night at The Glasgow Cook School and what fun it was. I had no idea this place existed until a little earlier this year but let me assure you if you’re looking to spend an entertaining night with a group of friends or colleagues on a creative culinary adventure then this is certainly worth considering. It’s situated on the 3rd floor of the Peckhams Building on Glassford Street. (Ask for Danny or Maddy)
I didn’t realise so much preparation went into making a simple Samosa, Nan Bread and Chicken Tikka Massala combination but oh boy have I learned a thing or two. The entire tutorial session (including a few stops along the way to top up my glass Lol) lasted just over four hours and the very best bit about the evening was eating the finished dish. I promise you it certainly tasted a whole lot better than it looked!! Ha!
It’s Great fun especially for Stag or Birthday Parties not to mention company corporate events too.
My final weekend highlight was a trip to the pictures to see the new Ray Winston movie The Sweeney. It’s a great movie but what really appealed to me was the D-Box Seating experience which is now on offer at Cineworld (and possibly other cinema’s too) in Glasgow City Centre. Try to imagine sitting on a roller-coaster while simultaneously watching a movie, that’s probably the easiest way to imagine the D-Box Virtual Sensation. Look out for the Upgrade option next time you visit the cinema.
Look forward to catching up on the STV Nightshift soon.
Cheers
