Hiya Nightshifters

Well it's official - the tan has started to fade already and I've only been back a few weeks. I think that as soon as you step off the plane and go through airport security that's when it happens - they're not checking your passport they are actually checking out your tan and somehow pressing a "remove tan" button. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it. I don't care if you believe me or not - it's no skin off my nose, well actually it is! I've started peeling so basically I've gone from white to red to brown to pink, I sound like a game of snooker!!

I'm actually in Ayr today and noticed that the Racecourse is having a race night this Friday for the STV Appeal - the one and only Pixie Lott is performing so I might have to go along to this to show my support for such a great charity.

We did our calendar for last year’s appeal and yours truly is Mr June - dressed as Clark Kent from Superman. There are a few people in the STV building who have the calendar on their desk and it's quite strange walking around seeing your photo on people's desks…maybe I should draw a moustache on myself - before anyone else does. That happened to me when I was in pantomime a few years ago - see the attached photo.
