Hiya Nightshifters
As I write this week’s blog I am gradually getting back to normality. I've been on holiday to Gran Canaria - I had a lovely time and it was well overdue, the weather forecast said it was to be cloudy for most of the week, well all I can say to that is that I am leaving a note on Sean Batty's desk at STV to say that they need his cousin Senior Juan Battee (I doubt there is such a person) to do the weather in Gran Canaria because it turned out to be absolutely beautiful! The sun shone for the whole week, can't wait to go back.
I flew from Edinburgh Airport and I tell you something it was SO easy - I've been lucky enough to fly from most of the big airports in the UK and it’s normally such a hassle, flying from Edinburgh was so easy, the parking, checking in, passport control & duty free (a personal favourite. Colin & Justin always say that they love coming into their favourite airport - Glasgow and I totally know what they mean.
On the subject of those two fabulous boys - I'm off to the Pavilion Theatre this week to see their old Pantomime Partner Jim Davidson in a production of Cinderella - well in actual fact is actually Sinderell, this is not a Panto that you or I may be used to - this is a little bit risqué and for adults only. I've actually seen something similar before on video and I thought it was brilliant, I will tell you all about it when I am back on The Nightshift.
I'm just about to finish writing this and I noticed that I've mentioned Sean Batty, Jim Davidson & Colin and Justin - I hope you don't think I'm a "name dropper". I actually can't bear people that do that - infact I was talking to Sean Connery the other day and he hates name droppers as well!!
Until next time....
Liam
