Hiya Nightshifters
Well today we had a staff meeting and we met our new member (well maybe in 18 years) Harris, Hayley's little baby boy - he was absolutely adorable and as if that wasn't enough - he brought us cupcakes which were also adorable. So much so that when the cupcakes were passed around, I passed Harris back to his mum. I can't eat and watch a baby at the same time lol,
I have had a busy couple of weeks, as you know I am in the process of putting my new flat together. The sofas have arrived and I love them! Although they do take away my floor sitting space.
I had a few days in Manchester last week, I went to see the Coronation Street Musical - Street of Dreams. It was on at the M.E.N arena and was hosted by Paul O'Grady - I was actually staying in the same hotel as him which I didn't know until his recognisable voice boomed across the bar. A few other Corrie stars were in it too including the legendary Julie Goodyear who famously played Bet Lynch (Gilroy - depending on your Corrie viewing Era.) The show was interesting to say the least, a soap opera/musical/pantomime combined. I was invited to the after show party which was great and had the chance to chat to our (Our meaning Scotland and STV's) own John Michie, even had a photo taken with him which I've added to this blog - I spoke to him about the show and of course mentioned The Nightshift!
Well I wish I had time to write some more but I have to get the suitcase looked out as I've finally managed to get the holiday I've been moaning about for what seems like forever - I'm off to Gran Canaria on Sunday for a week - I will tell you all about it when I get back!
Until then....
Liam x
