Scottish acting legend and friend of the show David Hayman has only recently finished play Anna Christie alongside Hollywood star Jude Law.
Fresh from completing its run in London’s West End, Hayman appeared live on The Hour’s sofa next to Celebrity Masterchef contestant Aggie MacKenzie and Corrie actor Andrew Lancel.
Both Hayman and Lancel had worked together previously; however this was their first encounter in over 15 years.
David was shocked to meet Andrew again after such a long time, he said: “It was quite a shock actually, because I knew him when he was just a lad, an innocent virginal young creature and I think I am probably responsible for a major change in his life that he hasn’t recovered from.”
David joked: “He was telling me earlier, he became a drug addict, and he became a really bad actor.”
Andrew also couldn’t believe how long it had been since they last spoke, he said: “We haven’t sat down for many years, fifteen years.”
Hayman also recently presented STV production In Search of Bible John, a documentary on STV looking at the connections between notorious Scottish killer Bible John and convicted scenario killer Peter Tobin.
Now with plans to take new play Anna Christie to Broadway, it looks as though David will be an incredibly busy man over the next year.
He joked: “We’ve been invited to Broadway, but next week I am in Bo’ness and Greenock.”
