The Hour

Gregor Fisher returns to our screens for the latest series of Rab C Nesbitt at the beginning of October.

The Naked Video star told STV’s The Hour how excited he is to be back: “I am excited; I have to tell you, we had a great time, and well we always have a great time. It was very nice.”

The new series features some high profile celeb guests including Richard E Grant and none other than Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle.

Gregor recalls how the I Dreamed a Dream singer was in awe of working alongside the Rab C cast when filming the show.

He said: “She’s delightful, she’s delightful but I think she was slightly nervous because before SuBo was SuBo, I think she used to sit in her hoose and watch us on telly.”

With the return of the iconic Scottish comedy show now in the tenth series, Gregor said he was starting to get comfortable in the role. He said: “It must be nearly well over sixty shows and you do get comfortable.”

“When you think about we’ve been doing it for twenty odd years or longer with Naked Video, so there is a kind of second hand thing that goes on along with it.”

The tenth series of Rab C Nesbitt returns to BBC2 on Wednesday October 5 at 10pm.
