Jonas Brother: rise to fame is “unbelievable”

Music trio the Jonas Brothers have gone from obscurity and worldwide fame in two years and with their new film The 3D Concert Experience about to be released, the group can’t believe their success.

“We dreamed about this and the fact that a lot of our dreams have come true is an amazing thing and we’re so grateful,” said 16-year-old Nick Jonas.

Oldest brother Kevin revealed they are still taken aback by their success, especially when they are performing on stage to thousands of screaming fans.

“I always tend to start laughing a little bit because there is so much joy in that moment, it’s like ‘this is unbelievable’,” said the 21-year-old.

“It makes you flash back to all those moments where it wasn’t so great and you look out and think ‘this is incredible’,” he added.

As for their relationship, the three brothers maintain they all have equal respect for each other, although youngest of the group Nick does emerge as the leader.

“He’s not the boss, but he is definitely a leader type. We call him Mr President because he is poised and composed and definitely much more mature for his age,” said Kevin.

Mr President agreed: “I think I have considered myself a leader type in the past. I think the important thing about our dynamic as a group is that we all treat each other with equal respect and that is important when you’re trying to make music together.”
