Scots tribal band Clanadonia perform at Royal Highland Show

Scottish tribal pipes and drums band, Clanadonia, blew the crowds away at the Royal Highland Show with an energy-filled performance.

Cat and Stephen caught up with Robbie from the band, who said they have been having a hectic year so far with the number of performances they’ve staged.

He said: “We’ve been non-stop and hopefully that will continue, The Gathering is coming up, loads of folk over from abroad, so we’ll entertain the masses.”

Robbie describes Clanadonia’s music, which is steeped in the Pictish/Celtic traditions of Scotland, as “bagpipe-fuelled mayhem”.

And the guys make sure they look the part too, by wearing a the Geat kilt also know as the Feileadh Mor.
