Scottish buffalo burger recipe

Scottish chef Eadie Manson burger recipe uses buffalo meat which is a healthier alternative to beer with no great difference to quality or taste.

Ingredients:

  • Buffalo mince
  • One onion (finely chopped)
  • One garlic clove (finely chopped)
  • Handful of parsley (roughly chopped)
  • One egg
  • Pinch of chilli flakes
  • Dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • Handful of breadcrumbs
  • Oil to fry
  • Salt and pepper
  • Small rolls or sliced bread

Method:

  1. First of all finely dice one onion, one garlic clove and the parsley and place into a mixing bowl.
  2. Crack in the egg, add a the chilli flakes and the Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Add the breadcrumbs to the mixture.
  4. Place the buffalo mince into the bowl and using your hands mix all the ingredients together.
  5. Next, form small burger patties and stand aside for 10 minutes.
  6. Fry the patties in a frying pan for three to four minutes each side.
