It may be Taggart star John Michie’s strangest moment in his role as DI Robbie Ross, as the show approaches its 100th episode on Christmas Eve - but fans are in for a festive treat if they want to feast their eyes on the star in his birthday suit, in our uncensored clip.
Most people like a bit of turkey when it comes to Christmas time (vegetarians excepted obviously), but there might have been concerns that Michie’s character DI Robbie Ross had been unveiled as a bit too much of an animal lover when he was shown locked up in a coup.
Fans had no reason to fret that Ross had been indulging in any fowl bestiality, as the bizarre moment came after Ross was trussed up like a plucked turkey when an undercover operation went pear-shaped in the Scottish police drama. Michie has described the moment as the strangest yet in his time starring in Taggart.

So the question must be asked: will Michie strip to the bare essentials for the new 100th episode of the show as a special festive treat? After all, what’s good for a goose is surely good for a gander...
In Fact and Fiction, which airs on STV on Christmas Eve at 9pm, Burke and the team investigate university lecturer and crime novelist Mark Joffe, whose debut publication includes a detailed description of a murder identical to that of a real-life unsolved case.
As the investigation continues, Burke becomes convinced of the writer's guilt, but cannot seem to find sufficient evidence to charge him.
The landmark episode of the Glasgow-set crime drama guest-stars Finlay Robertson along regular stars Alex Norton, Blythe Duff and John Michie.
