This 1997 drama follows three working-class lads through the highs and lows in their lives.

What’s it about?
The movie is about a group of fledgling artists who work in a ‘slab room’ in a carpet factory, grinding colours for the paint used by the carpet designers.

All have other dreams they want to pursue, and the film zones in on this theme of getting away from the boredom and monotony they face every day, to make something else of their lives.
