X Factor reject Rachel Adedeji has revealed that she fears that John and Edward may win the competition. Despite weekly criticism from the judges the twins continue to remain popular with the public.
Rachel told the Daily Star: "It's not just about singing now. Maybe the public are looking for something different this year.
"Maybe it's a popularity contest. If I had a twin sister with wacky hair maybe I'd still be in the contest. People might like that."
Discussing Jedward, Rachel said: "I do think the twins can win now. X Factor is about performing and knowing how to work a crowd.
"Some people clearly like to hear certain voices over others."
During her time in the house celebrity mentors Robbie Williams, Whitney Houston, and Michael Bublé praised Adedeji's voice.
She revealed that she blames Simon Cowell and TV editing for her exit from the show. She said that she had no "back story," unlike the Danyl and Stacey who all featured heavily during the audition stages.
The singer claimed she lost public support when Simon said: "Her personality is an issue. I know nothing about her."
Rachel said: "At the beginning I don't think viewers knew who I was. They knew I was this girl who liked to sing and that's all.
"Whereas the others... they knew Stacey from Dagenham and Lucie from her little village in Wales.
"Everyone had a little story. No-one knew who I was. I wasn't broadcast as much as anyone else.
"Simon's comments about me probably didn't help either."
