Sandy Murray is a retired RAF officer who is now a mountain guide based in Inverness. He believes that the mountains are natural tension relievers which can help people escape everyday life.
Nowadays Sandy runs walking holidays company Osprey Adventures. He also organises bespoke events, such as fundraising walks and climbs for charities and other organisations. And if that wasn‘t enough, Sandy and his wife run Dunhallin House too, a small guest house on the southern edge of Inverness.
Sandy climbs Ben Nevis 40 times a year and regularly helps all sorts of people to get to the top.
In the Make Me Happier episode about confidence and worrying, Sandy helped Michael scale the highest mountain of the British Isles and reconnect with the old confident “can do” Michael.
