Actress Linda Evans loves the UK version of Hell's Kitchen and is looking to Marco to nurture her love of cooking.

The former Dynasty star often hosts dinner parties for friends but when she cooks for them she always follows a menu that they have requested rather than her own.

She says of the show: "I've seen it and I loved it I thought it was great. I think that Marco is brilliant.

"My favourite dish is whatever your favourite dish is because it's what you like not what I like. I cook for people that I care about and love to see what they love to eat."

Describing Marco as a "fascinating man", Linda admits that she has never done anything like Hell's Kitchen before and says she is embarking on the "complete unknown".

"I have never met Marco. I think he is a fascinating man and I think he is complex.  I find him to be very warm in his heart and very strong about what he wants and I think he is very fair in that he is only asking you to rise to a level to be able to meet the quality of the food that he makes."

"I have never put myself in this kind of position, this is a complete unknown to me. If I am cooking for somebody in my house I have certainly no pressure, it's certainly joyful and I don't know about cooking under pressure."

Admitting to a love of cooking Linda reveals that she would be happiest "chained to a stove" and is hoping Marco will help her develop a greater knowledge of food.

"I hope I learn something about cooking that I didn't know before, certainly we will be studying under the best and to me that is the whole draw for me to come and do it.  I would come home with more understanding of cooking and a greater knowledge of how to prepare food because I love it.

"I have always said you can chain me to a stove and I would be a happy girl."

Revealing that her family think she's crazy for taking part in the show, the Golden Globe winning actress is brushing up on her cooking skills having been on the road for the past two years.

"The last two years I haven't done so much as I have been travelling so much that I am kind of rusty so I going to have to get into the kitchen and chop.

"I don't know if I am good [at cooking] but I love it, I have never put myself in a position to be rated.  I cook for people that I care about and love to see what they love to eat. It's what I love, pleasing people."

Linda is hoping her experience on the show will help with a possible future project.

"Well actually I am thinking about writing a cookbook. These are just things that I love and have made and can do, so I don't think it would be any competition for Marco at all.

"I mean I'm a cookbook reader I have hundreds of cookbooks. I have thousands of recipes that I never make."

Unfazed by the thought of cooking for fellow celebrities saying that she will "think of them as friends and then it will be easy", Linda admits that it's the cameras that she will find awkward.

"That will be fairly strange, I suppose after a while you just kind of stick it out and get on with your life, I think at the beginning it's probably awkward but then you adjust."
