Nancy Dell'Olio is to join Marco Pierre White's for his new reality show Kitchen Burnout, according to reports. Dell'Olio is the ex-partner of football manager Sven-Göran Eriksson.
She is to join other celebrities to be trained by White to run their own restaurants.
A source told the Daily Star: "Nancy is a great signing.
"She won't stand for any nonsense and she'll certainly take Marco to task if he starts yelling at her in the kitchen."
Kitchen Burnout is to be on our screens in the spring and will be a replacement for Hell's Kitchen.
The new show will see the celebs using an existing restaurant in London rather than a custom-made one just for the programme.
Others thought to be signing up for the show include Ultimo model Elen Rives, jockey Frankie Dettori, style expert Susannah Constantine and astrologer Russell Grant.
Hell's Kitchen 2009 was won by US actress Linda Evans, who is best known for playing Krystle Carrington in Dynasty.
