Rosemary Shrager

Rosemary is a talented chef who has worked for Pierre Koffman at the famous Tante Claire restaurant in London and also for super chef Jean-Christophe Novelli.

Whilst head chef at Amhuinnsuidhe Castle, Rosemary ran her renowned cookery course for four years and published her first book, Rosemary - Castle Cook in 2001.  In 2003, she moved her cookery school to Swinton Park, where her stv TV series Rosemary Shrager’s School for Cooks was based.

Rosemary’s TV career began with the TV series Rosemary - Castle Cook, followed by Rosemary on the Road, both for Channel 5.  She was resident expert on Ladette to Lady (UK, US and Australian versions) and The Alan Titchmarsh Show.  She has also appeared as a guest chef on numerous programmes.

Rosemary also cooked Georgian food for the BBC’s Supersizers series, judged alongside Jean-Christophe Novelli on Soapstar Superchef, and weaned families off fast food on Kitchen Showdown with Rosemary Shrager.

Rosemary will be mentoring the Taste the Nation team from the North East.
