Later, Lisa feels she has no option but to contact the police to report Zak as being a missing person. However, Zak strolls in on time leaving Lisa deeply concerned about his state of mind. She demands to know where Zak’s been all this time but when he reveals he can’t remember Lisa expects he’s covering. Lisa is frustrated by his attitude and flustered by his avoidance when she asks for answers. Zak shows signs of guilt after causing his family even more worry. Lisa goes to collect Belle from Debbie but Belle senses something is up. She’s relieved to see her dad but Lisa hasn’t calmed down. Lisa loses it and breaks down when talking to Debbie but she pulls herself together when she sees Zak. Debbie reminds Zak that Sarah needs her whole family around her just now.

Once again Sandy disrupts things for Ashley. Diane is concerned that Sandy isn’t looking good while Ashley and Laurel spend a romantic night together back home. However, Ashley is pleased to have Sandy out the way for once. Diane and Pearl take Sandy into the backroom as he drains of colour and doesn’t look himself. Sandy feels dizzy but insists he doesn’t want Ashley involved. Laurel and Ashley are getting cosy when Sandy and Pearl arrive to explain Sandy’s taken a funny turn. Laurel’s worried but Ashley’s only thought is how he’s ruined another special night for him. Ashley takes his frustrations out on Sandy whilst Laurel, oblivious runs herself a bath upstairs.

Also, Carl realises he enjoys Megan’s company despite her jibes and Jai and Declan tell Katie about her commitment phobia. Declan is annoyed when Adam insists they won’t get anything from his family. Later, Declan and Katie are getting close when Megan interrupts with Carl in tow. Megan gives Carl the impression she has feelings for him but he’s left shocked and confused when she later turns his advances down. Later, Megan is intrigued when Katie warns her off Carl. Gennie is eaten up with guilt when Nikhil trips over her bag and injures his ankle. Secretly, Gennie hopes the injury will deter him from training as often as he has. Adam loses it when he sees the order of service for the funeral but Holly begs him to keep it together for her sake.
