Moira's saddened as she prepares her marriage certificate for her solicitor.  She and John decide to talk to the children about the divorce and Moira's wracked with guilt.  John's heart is broken as he watches Moira leave the house and he launches a mug at the wall in frustration.  John visits Moira later on to see how things went with the solicitor and Moira becomes unsure of John's feelings as they reminisce.  She tries to get him to open up, explaining that she still loves and wants to be with him, but he has to tell her what he truthfully wants deep down.  John's unable to speak and Moira pushes him a bit further until he cracks and breaks into tears.  He finally confesses he doesn't want a divorce.

Rachel confronts Ruby but is silenced when Ruby explains her love for Ali.  Nicola hassles Ali about rent outside the cafe while Ruby's hurt by Ali giving up on their relationship.  Later, Ali's shocked to learn Ruby's had the money to pay Declan the whole time and she selfishly kept it hidden despite their troubles and lack of money to even feed the kids.  Ali tells Ruby she's blown it for good.  Ali goes home where Nicola's measuring the place for the new carpet and Ruby arrives, determined to make it up to Ali.  Will Ali give her a second chance?

Also, Zak blunders his lunch date with Lisa and she's worried he's not coping.  She urges him to talk to Cain.
