Things don’t start well as John tries to talk to the kids about him and Chas. He’s hurt to see their loyalty to their mother proving they’re not interested in Chas. He tries to discuss moving on but things go from bad to worse when Moira arrives. Meanwhile, at the Woolpack, Chas warns Aaron about getting kids involved after his fight with Adam, clearly concerned about John. The kids leave in order to give Moira and John time alone. Moira is stunned to silence when John reveals he wants a divorce. Adam takes his quad bike to the garage for repairs and Chas lets the news out blabbing about John and Chas getting divorced. Adam and Holly quickly make their way home when they realise John wanted to discuss a divorce with Moira. Moira is hurt and betrayed when she realises Chas knew about the divorce before her. John’s left alone with his pain when everyone leaves. Later, Adam stops by the garage to collect his quad bike but Aaron hasn’t finished the work yet. The pair squabble again, putting off other customers. A distraught Moira tells Marlon about John wanting a divorce as she hits rock bottom. Meanwhile, things are going well between Chas and John as they share a meaningful kiss before Diane interrupts.

Katie moves in with Declan. Nicola’s put out when Declan offers to help Katie unpack her things and Katie tries to adjust to her new surroundings. Gennie arrives and Katie forces a smile as celebrates her new role as ‘Lady of the Manor’. She tells Katie her new environment might take some getting used to but her mood changes when Declan is called into work and she’s left alone. Aaron and Katie settle into living together and it’s clear to everyone they’re happy.

Val’s plan backfires when David and Diane offer to run the B and B so Pollard can join her and Amy on holiday in Portugal. Diane’s concerned about what she’s up to as she gets excited about the holiday and Amy’s troubled as she talks to David about her worries over Val and Pollard.
