Adam is concerned about Moira from the previous night, while John insists he’s done nothing wrong in dating Chas. Rachel visits Marlon to check where he is and there’s a flash of her jealousy over his closeness to Moira. Moira can’t face sorting things out with Chas. Diane warns Chas that John may be using her to get over Moira but Chas things otherwise when John sends her a text inviting her to lunch. Moira, Adam and Holly can’t believe it when they see Chas getting into John’s car and kiss him before driving off. Adam confronts Aaron over his mum’s behaviour but Aaron tells him it’s none of his business and to back off. Resentment between the pair surfaces and a fight breaks out as Marlon struggles to separate the pair. Chas and John arrive home to be greeted by the brawl. John and Moira squabble as Aaron and Adam calm down. John knows he must finally sort things out once and for all if the tensions to end. Chas is taken aback when John tells her he plans to file for a divorce from Moira.

Amy moves back home and Val suggests a trip to Portugal for them all. Amy sits in waiting for the social worker to drop by and collect the baby book she’s made for Kyle. Amy realises the extent of the suffering she’s put Val and Pollard through. Later, Val gets jealous of Amy and Pollard’s closeness as Amy returns home officially. Val can’t hid her feelings of resentment when she watched the bond between the pair. Pollard’s shocked when Val suggests they all get away for a while to see Paul in Portugal. She’s chuffed to think she’s got one over Pollard. She makes a provisional booking for the holiday as Pollard can’t deny they all deserve some quality time together. But Amy senses something is up.

Also, Katie’s thoughtful when Declan asks her to move in with him again and her minds made up after some gentle encouragement from Gennie. Rodney’s determined when he secures a trial run with an old contact but Carl tells him they haven’t got enough trucks. He’s frustrated when Carl refuses to use Cameron as a driver.
