John and Moira are excited to be heading to a hotel to spend the night together, but their excitement turns to horror when they are involved in a horrific car crash.

The pair have borrowed Andy’s Landrover for their overnight trip, and as they reminisce about when they first met, John hits a patch of ice and the car skids, crashing through an obstruction and landing on its side in the dark.

John and Moira are terrified as the car lurches forward and slips dangerously close to the edge of a ravine.

Meanwhile. Declan and Katie hit the same patch of ice as John, and although they are okay, they spot the Landrover and rush over to help. As the pair struggle to free John and Moira, they are horrified when the car slips and plummets down the side of the ravine.

As the emergency services arrive, they set about cutting open the wreckage, and as the ambulance rushes to the hospital, Holly, Adam and Hannah get devastating news. Will their mum and dad be okay or does tragedy await?

Elsewhere in the village, Andy ruins Debbie and Cameron’s romantic night in, while Chas encourages Aaron to go for a drink with Ed.
