Things aren’t looking too good for Rachel tonight when she dolls herself up to the nines in a bid to impress Marlon and gets the brush-off when she leans in for a kiss. Charming!

Returning home with her tail between her legs, Rachel explains to Ruby and Ali what has happened, and Ruby insists that they can no longer accept Marlon’s loan offer, leaving Ali full of suspicion.

Meanwhile, Chas and Moira are both feeling down after yesterday’s fall out, and John’s left rattled when Adam has a go at him about his relationship with Chas.

Later, John apologises to Chas for his behaviour, and when Moira visits him at the farm and tells him she’ll always love him, John breaks her heart when he tells her he can never forgive her. Well that's what happens when you have an affair with Cain Dingle, Moira!

Elsewhere in the village, Pollard questions Val as she’s getting ready to leave for Portugal, and Amy is left shocked when Val tells her it would be tempting to stay there and never come back.

As she unleashes her venom against Pollard, Diane and Amy are stunned, especially when she gets into a taxi and heads off, leaving everyone behind and Pollard gutted.
