Axed Dancing on Ice star Heidi Range has revealed that she feels proud of herself for taking part in the show and is leaving with her head held high.

The Sugababe had been struggling to learn some challenging new moves for this week’s ultimate skills test, and when she found herself in the bottom three against Sebastien Foucan and Chemmy Alcott, she struggled to keep her cool.

Heidi and Sebastien couldn’t contain their emotions when the judges chose to save Chemmy, but Heidi is happy that she’s managed to get this far in the competition.

Speaking about her time on the show, she said: “I’m gutted because I enjoy doing this show so much and I’m really going to miss it, but it was getting harder and harder each week.

“I’ve loved every minute of it and wouldn’t have changed it for the world and I’m proud of myself. I feel like I can go out with my head held high.”

Heidi has lost over a stone during the show and has loved the effect the training has had on her body.

She has also really enjoyed working with Sylvain Longchambon, who praised the singer for all her hard work and said: “For me there’s only one winner, and that’s Heidi.”
