Paul Heiney and the Countrywise team travel through some of Britain’s most iconic landscapes to discover the extraordinary part rural and coastal communities played in aiding the Second World War effort during the 1940s.
This one hour special takes the team on a journey from the majestic White Cliffs of Dover right the way up to the rugged Highlands in Scotland.
