Coronation Street’s Jane Danson has revealed that she would love to see her soap character involved in a shock baby twist.
The actress, who plays Leanne Battersby in the soap, is due back on the cobbles this week, and she thinks it would be great if she was secretly pregnant.
Speaking to Inside Soap she said: "I think that would be a great storyline! Leanne could just get fat and not tell anybody. It'd be really interesting.
"I'd also like it if they kept Leanne's quest to get in the family way going for a lot longer. In the real world, it can take people many years to have a baby."
Leanne and her husband Peter Barlow had been trying for a baby before they split up.
Their relationship ended when Peter ditched his wife so that he could be with Carla Connor.
