Mel B, soon after her Spice Girls triumph, was on hand to give fellow host Peter Kay two kisses before going on to present the award.
And the winner... Jay-Z, on hand to receive the award in a smart suit, looking as suave as ever.
He strode up casually to the stage to greet Mel B, and asked the crowd "What's up?"
Jay-Z credited two major moments of his life "over the pond."
The first was his amazing performance at Glastobury, and the second? The Spice Girls. Hmm, we think he might have been tongue in cheek there!
The nominees were Bruce Springsteen, Eminem, Jay-Z, Michael Buble and Seasick Steve.
