Robert Pattinson is about to...! Oh no, it's Alan Carr presenting this award. Thanks for taunting us with that misinformation Peter Kay, teenage girls nationwide will never forgive you.
So, would Florence and the Machine walk away completely snubbed by the BRIT Awards despite three nominations?
Seems she was, as the winner was JLS, who are now officially the biggest boy band of their generation. Well, at least according to Fearne Cotton anyway, for what it's worth.
"We can't believe that we're here right now, and we'd like to thank every one of you for supporting us," said one of the members.
X Factor judges Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh also got thanked for their part in the band's success, good for them!
The nominees were Alesha Dixon - Breathe Slow, Alexandra Burke Ft Flo Rida - Bad Boys, Cheryl Cole - Fight For This Love, Joe McElderry - The Climb, JLS - Beat Again, La Roux - In For The Kill, Lily Allen - The Fear, Pixie Lott - Mama Do, Taio Cruz - Break Your Heart and Tinchy Stryder Ft N-Dubz - Number 1.
