Another Spice Girl followed on from Mel B to present an award, this time Geri Halliwell.
So Best British Breakthrough Act, an award the Spice Girls were nominated for in 1997, though they lost out to... (drum roll) Kula Shaker.
Oh dear. Still, I guess they won out in the end, eh?
The Radio 1 listeners voted for this award, with the nominees being Pixie Lott, La Roux, Florence and the Machine, JLS and Friendly Fires.
The winner was a triumphant JLS, who won out over the girls. As presented Fearne Cotton noted: "Simon Cowell's might have won out again."
They seemed suitably elated that 18 months after appearing on The X Factor they've now won a BRIT Award. After thanking the Radio 1 listeners, JLS exited the stage, no doubt to celebrate...
