Being Victor: cutting edge comedy drama on STV

Picture: Being Victor: cutting edge comedy drama on STV

Unlike anything ever seen on STV before, Being Victor is a brand new comedy drama that follows the life of seventeen year old Vinnie Dupe, his sister and their dysfunctional friends.

Combining comic situations, gritty storylines and a stunning soundtrack from up-and-coming bands, Being Victor is unmissable drama.

Vinnie
, played by Dean Smith of Waterloo Road fame, is doing his Highers at Queen Mary’s College in Glasgow, UK. He’s a geek who most certainly lacks chic until he realises he can live out his dark side via scathing alter ego blogger Victor www.victorsblog.co.uk Victor reeks havoc on those closest to Vinnie…

Vinnie’s best friends are stunning Eva and handsome Doyle. Vinnie wishes he could be something more to Eva. They’re like Dawson and Joey only from suburban Britain with moderately crappy lives. Oh, and they don’t climb in each other’s windows.

Doyle’s gay, but quiet and cool enough to dodge most of the trouble that’s come his way for it. It’s always been the three of them, a slightly goofy clique happy to hover round the edges of cool. But nothing stays the same forever, and things are about to change…

Bad boy Danny not only upsets Vinnie by bullying him and dating Eva. He’s also been a naughty boy with Lesley behind Eva’s back. Lesley is Vinnie’s sister – big mistake.

As the characters lives intertwine, problems with sex, drink, drugs and family issues ensue, but where will it all end? Can Vinnie put a stop to the carnage? Find out, Tuesday’s at 7.30 on STV.
